You’ve been spending your time
Making deals with your innocence
You used to burn so bright
You’d go blind in the mirror
So you waited for a sign
From the other side
But all you got was a letter
That nobody signed
Your heart’s a lonely sound
You know so is mine and there’s no one else around
Your time will come somehow
But if you never look up you’ll never live it down
For the rest of your life
You tried to write a reply
You didn’t know where to send it
You didn’t even know why
So you never look back
Ignore what you’re missing
Some things just stay hidden
In plain sight
You were born on the wrong side
With the will to live a lie
You did everything right
You had everything covered
Your heart’s a lonely sound
You know so is mine and there’s no one else around
Your time will come somehow
But if you never look up you’ll never live it down
So you learned how to fly
Wrote your answer across the sky
In beautiful letters
It brought tears to their eyes
You got so many answers
But not a single reply
They all just kept asking you
How’d you get so high
Your heart’s a lonely sound
You know so is mine and there’s no one else around
Your time will come somehow
But if you never look up you’ll never live it down
Live it
Live it
Live it down
Live it
Live it
Live it down

Moaning have crafted a brilliantly focused, dissonantly beautiful, and a detachedly deep album. I often ask myself while listening to it, what if young Radiohead had made a post-punk record after The Bends instead of OK Computer? It's that good. Whatever genre this album belongs to, it transcends it and that is always the mark if a true artistic accomplishment. Andru A.
