Any other fool could see
That you weren’t moving
Did you love what you thought I’d be
Cause I was improving
We try to debate it but we don’t have a clue
Every time you erase it takes a little from you
You don’t get a lover
You don’t get a lover
You got too many feelings
You don’t get a lover
You don’t get a lover
You got too many feelings
Your heart
Is bringing me down
The light in the dark
You know it just went out
I gotta leave you honey
But I don’t know how
You know I kinda need a little help right now
Stumbled into paradise amid the confusion
Shoulda never stayed past that chime excuse the intrusion
Passion gets stronger if you leave it to cool
Can’t take it much longer just what am I to you
You don’t get a lover
You don’t get a lover
You got too many feelings
You don’t get a lover
You don’t get a lover
You got too many feelings
Your heart
Is bringing me down
The light in the dark
You know it just went out
I gotta leave you honey
But I don’t know how
You know I kinda need a little help right now
Odysseus would drown if he’d ever seen you
Mysterious devotions when you step in the room
You don’t get a lover
You don’t get a lover
You got too many feelings
(Odysseus would drown if he’d ever seen you)
You don’t get a lover
You don’t get a lover
You got too many feelings
(Mysterious devotions when you step in the room)
Your heart
Is bringing me down
The light in the dark
You know it just went out
I gotta leave you honey
But I don’t know how
You know I kinda need a little help right now

Moaning have crafted a brilliantly focused, dissonantly beautiful, and a detachedly deep album. I often ask myself while listening to it, what if young Radiohead had made a post-punk record after The Bends instead of OK Computer? It's that good. Whatever genre this album belongs to, it transcends it and that is always the mark if a true artistic accomplishment. Andru A.
